For months I’ve been talking about trying to put sound, i.e. Readings of my novel on wickedcoolflight.net. I recorded the first paragraph on my phone but the two weren’t compatible. After trying several things to change the file format, to no avail I gave up. So when I came across an article in The Writer about soundcloud.

If you haven’t heard about soundcloud it’s a free site that helps artist and their supporters to share music, reading, podcast and much more. In The Writer it promotes soundcloud as a tool to get closer to our audience. Writers can create podcast for our website/blog or read parts of our novels, poems, and short stories. It’s a way for us to connect with our fans in a new form. As for me I was able to re-record the intro to Legacy. Granted my voice isn’t that of a professional. It sounds like a kid (I think) but that’s beside the point. Thanks to soundcloud I’m finally able to give my readers a taste of Legacy, and I’ll be able to add more. I like that I can now give bits and pieces that I think readers will enjoy without having to read the whole novel to them.

So soundcloud is now downloaded on every tool I use to write on. I can find my favorite musician and authors along with creating my own sounds while on the go. Like music soundcloud will be added to my writing toolbox. I can’t wait to create another entry, but for now I’ll leave you with this.
