Giveaway: The Trouble with Magic by Patricia Rice

Submitted by on August 23, 2012 – 4:00 am12 Comments

Hello our lovelies! Thanks to Sourcebooks, we have the chance to giveaway ONE copy of Patricia Rice’s The Trouble with Magic to ONE lucky US/Canada commenter. Here’s what Source books has to say:

“As many of you know, we have a line of books called Casablanca Classics—these are beloved books by fabulous authors that have gone out of print. We are so excited to have the next book in Patricia Rice’s classic “Magic” Series back in stores this month: The Trouble with Magic!

Patricia Rice’s bestselling Magic series featuring the clash between science and magic has been off the market over 5 years. In The Trouble with Magic, Sparks fly when Ewen, the itinerant rake and adventurous inventor of the Ives family, catches Felicity, the most fey of the Malcolms, who is fleeing to Scotland to discover a way of ending her dangerous gift…”

Felicity Malcolm Childe’s gift for experiencing visions through touch has always been more curse than blessing. She sees horrifying images each time she brushes her hand against another person, and she is forced to cover herself from toe to finger to deflect the vicious onslaught. Only the maddeningly handsome Ewen Ives harbors no guilty secrets to cause her pain. He is betrothed to another, and he is at odds with the Malcolm family- but he is Felicity’s only hope. Will they find the spell to remove her gift? Or will Ewen forget their mission once he sees Felicity without her unsightly head to toe garments?

A big shout out and thanks to Source books for making the classics we missed when they were released available again!

I love Patricia’s books and had read several of the Magic Series books but had missed getting The trouble With Magic at the time.

Patricia has a wonderful way of intertwining her stories with a storyline filled with interesting characters and situations that by the end of the story you feel a personal connection and with scenes that have to holding your breath and hoping for a happily ever after!

Thanks for the chance to win a copy of The Trouble With Magic!
