Dear Santa…. Day’s wishlist
Dear Santa Baby,
I realize that I haven’t been perfect this year, but when you consider all the really naughty people in the world, my misbehavior pales in comparison. Teaching middle school age can drive a girl crazy, and I only thought evil thoughts about the smart alec kid maybe once or twice. I think it showed amazing self control on my part that I didn’t lose my cool right there and scream at the little booger. I mean, you know how it is, surely you do. After all, you have that list and everything. And speaking of self control…how about that my husband is still living? You know what a grinch he is, and there were numerous times he came into the kitchen while I had sharp objects in my hand ranting and complaining about something or another and I could have easily silenced him but I didn’t. Oh, and I also gave a bunch of designer coats to the needy…okay so yeah, I live in Houston and it is still averaging 85 degrees and I don’t technically need that many coats, but you know how much I adored my coats and what a sacrifice it was to part with them. So listen, I won’t ask for anything impossibly difficult and I promise to leave you my famous cookies that you love so much and since the reindeer do all the flying maybe some Egg Nog with rum in it or perhaps a nice , warm mug of mulled cider…it’s the least I can do.
