Month of Love Giveaway: Inferno Club series by Gaelen Foley

Submitted by on February 2, 2012 – 4:00 am19 Comments

Today, we are givingaway the first two books in Gaelen Foley’s Inferno Club series to ONE lucky US/Canada reader! All you have to do is leave us a comment and tell us: Who is your favorite romance hero and why?

To London’s aristocracy, the Inferno Club is a scandalous society no proper young lady would acknowledge. But though they are publicly notorious for pursuing all manner of debauchery, in private they are warriors who would do anything to protect king and country.

The Marquess of Rotherstone has decided it’s time to restore the family’s good name. But as a member of the Inferno Club, he knows there is only one way to redeem himself in Society’s eyes: marry a lady of impeccable beauty and breeding, whose reputation is, above all, spotless.

Someone quite unlike Daphne Starling. True, she’s temptingly lovely, but a jilted suitor has nearly ruined her reputation. Still, Max cannot resist her allure—or the challenge of proving London’s gossips wrong. He would do anything to win her hand . . . and show that even a wicked marquess can make a perfect husband.

The Inferno Club: In public, this scandalous society of London aristocrats is notorious for pursuing all manner of debauchery. But in private, they are warriors who would do anything to protect king and country . . .

They say that the very name of Warrington is cursed . . .

From a time as old as the cold stone of the duke’s ancestral castle, the Warrington men have been plagued by tragedy. But Rohan Kilburn, the Duke of Warrington has vowed to escape the predestined torment by forsaking love and devoting his life to the Inferno Club and its secret mission.

And then she is brought to him unbidden by cutthroats hoping to calm the duke’s infamous temper—a sacrificial virgin of sorts. But even overpowered, Kate Madsen will be no man’s sacrifice. And the duke’s price for claiming her may be what he has sworn never to give—the heart he has so long and fiercely guarded . . . to the beautiful hostage he was never meant to love.

JD Robb’s Roark from the Eve Dallas series. Roark is the classic tall, dark and good looking. That he’s mega rich, has an Irish lilt, and can make you laugh is only cream on top of the sundae.

Umm I guess I would say Mr. Darcy from P&P. I liked his character growth and the way he wasn’t as he appeared at first.

My all time fav is Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara from Gone With the Wind. My newest is Eve and Roark from J.D. Robb’s series which I love.
Rhett and Scarlett were like oil and vineger and she was so wrapped up in herself that she could not see what a great guy Rhett was. Rhett tried hard to make the marriage work but finally gave up when she refused to give up hope of marrying Ashley.

My favorite romance hero is Jamie Fraser from the Outlander series because he’s Scottish, he wears a kilt, and he’s just SO sexy!! He also loves Claire with all of his heart and is loyal to a fault. Also, he’s Jamie freakin’ Fraser, for heaven’s sake!

I really can’t pick just one, but it tends to be whoever I am reading about.

My favorite romance hero changes day to day but a couple come easily (*snicker*) to mind. I love Barrons from Karen Maries Moning’s Fever series and Acheron from Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Romance Hero: My favorite at the minute is almost always the hero of the book I happen to be nose-deep in. However, my fav off the top of my head….Ian Sutherland, Duke of Rotham from “To Desire a Wicked Duke”. The story just draws you in.
Why: The story goes from enemies forced to wed to love blooming. It’s hard not to love a hero when the heroine wants so badly to not love him!

My favorite right now is Reece from Olivia Cunnings Twice Upon A Time series. He’s a baddie yet goodie and a hottie to boot. How can you not love him. He is all the elements you would love in a character!

I’d say Acheron from the Dark Hunters because even though he has been through horrible things he still cares about others. It doesn’t hurt that he is yummy gorgeous.
