Fun 2012 titles for children to enjoy this Summer!
It is that time of year once again. The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and the kids are beginning to get antsy in their classrooms as each day ticks down to summer vacation.
If your kids are anything like mine the last thing they want to think about is doing ANYTHING that remotely resembles schoolwork and honestly I don’t blame them one bit. Even though Summer break and vacations in general are important, continuing to fuel those little tea-cup human’s minds is just as critical so they may preserve some of that knowledge they worked so hard the previous school year learning.
That is why I am excited to share some of these fun upcoming Summer releases for children with you. The following titles are just a few from Macmillan imprints Feiwel & Friends as well as Farrar Straus Giroux that caught my attention. Not only are they fun reads with some clever word usage and stories, they are wonderfully illustrated too and that is a winning combination when it comes to entertaining a little mind . . . especially when reading could feel like a chore when the pool is calling!
