Noa on why she needs a Rock Chick intervention
I am fully aware of the fact that when it comes to books (and chocolate!) I’m a bit of an addict. My friends should know this by now which is why I am very disappointed in them. I mean, what do they expect me to do when they just keep going on and on about this series they’ve been reading called Rock Chick?
If you caught my review from last week you’ll realize how much I enjoyed the first book in the series, the problem is… There are seven books, and one in the making. Seven Rock Chicks and seven guys in the Hot Bunch (that’s how the girls call the guys) and each book is long and they have been the only thing on my mind for the past two weeks.
I haven’t been reading these books, I’ve been devouring them; and this means life has taken a back seat. I wake up in the morning and slip in a few pages before heading out to work, I think about the characters all day, like – will Jet make it to the family dinner? Will Eddie ever get that romantic time with her? Will Luke do that half smile thing and will it turn into a full on a grin (‘cause thats hot) and what wacky thing will Daisy wear next. I read them all night and whenever I had time in between (i.e. every. spare. minute.)
I’m still trying to work out my favorite couple because wow, it’s just a tough choice to make (Luke is the front runner…) I have a favorite and least favorite book but I just adore the setting, the premise, the characters, the fact that the author Kristen Ashley doesn’t take herself too seriously….the result is a light, often fluffy but simply delicious series that I honestly cannot get enough of.
The only story left is Ally’s and I am counting the days…
So really, I’d like to say a big thank you to those addiction feeding friends, and a huge thank you to Kristen Ashley. Life has recently been a hectic mess and knowing that I had the Rock Chicks and Hot Bunch to come home to was like knowing I had a special cupcake with double frosting waiting at home just for me.
This series is a keeper.
Now, anyone know how much airfare is from Tel Aviv to Denver?
P.S. – Kristen Ashley has just launched an awesome charitable initiative find out more here

I’m going to have to check this series out!
It sounds like a lot of fun. It’s been a long time since I’ve been addicted to or devoured a series.
Noa,
I spent the summer with the
Rock chicks and like you pretty much put my life on hold. I went to Denver for work in August, so I had Fat Tire beer (more than once and got a t-shirt), and visited LoDo (kept trying to guess which loft would be home to Luke). If you haven’t read her Mountain Man series or the Wildman series check them out (especially Tate and Tack). Good to know there’s another Kristen Ashley addict out there!!
