GIVEAWAY of “Big Bad Beast” by Shelly Laurenston

Submitted by on May 11, 2011 – 4:53 am69 Comments

We are very excited to offer a special giveaway for all of you paranormal romance lovers! The wonderful people at Kensington Publishing have provided TWO copies of Shelly Laurenston’s latest ‘Big Bad Beast’!
When it comes to following her instincts, former Marine Dee-Ann Smith never holds back. And this deadly member of a shifter protection group will do anything to prove one of her own kind is having hybrids captured for dogfights. Trouble is, her too-cute rich-boy boss Ric Van Holtz insists on helping out. And his crazy-like-a-fox smarts and charming persistence are making it real hard for Dee to keep her heart safe…

Ric can’t believe his luck. He’s wanted this fiercely-independent she-wolf from day one, but he never expected teamwork as explosive as this. And now is his last chance to show Dee what she needs isn’t some in-your-face Alpha male-but a wily, resourceful wolf who’ll always have her back in a fight…and between the sheets.

Sounds good, huh?
To enter to win Big Bad Beast all you have to do is leave a comment in this post and tell us what kind of a shifter you’d be and why? Are you a were-pony type of person? Maybe you are more of a were cougar? What ever it is tell us and you are entered to WIN!
It’s that easy!
This contest is international and will end May 28th. The 2 winners will be selected with the help of random.org and be announced in our Week in Review post May 29th.
*Special thanks to Kensington Publicity*

This book has been on my radar for a while!

I would be a wolf shifter I think. I like their pack instincts and it would be easier to hide as wolf rather than a big cat.

I think I'd like being a werebat. I mean, talk about a different vision of the world! You fly, you can hardly see anything, you can use echolocation and sleep upside down. I think I would make a good bat.

  • I'd be a were-lion. Big cats are graceful, agile, strong and fast and as we know by Curran's example, sexy as hell, so I'd be in good company ;-D

    Thank you!

Hi! :) Well, I would say a dinosaur, but I guess that would be a little bit noticable in today's day and age. Well, until they get around to cloning them anyway. Ah, guess I'll go with a cat. :)

I'd be a big were cat of some type. They're more flexible and better solo killers than a wolf.

Of course whenever you come off a good read, which this morning I did, I cannot help relating to that particular story. If I were a shifter I would like to be a white tiger – they are so beautiful, powerful, and strong – besides the queen rules!

I love dragon shifters and that's what I'd want to be. Who wouldn't want to be able to fly and to breathe fire? Shelly's dragon books (written as GA Aiken) are hilarious, just as her regular shifter books are. She's so over the top.
