My favorite is Historical Romance. Why? Well, I like that it takes me back in time where everything was just more romantic. At least in my opinion.
My favorite romance novel that I have recently read was Olivia Cunnings Twice Upon a Time. Sequel to Once Upon A Time.

I would pick the PNR because I have 3 of the historicals already and I love both genres. I don’t really have a favorite romance book. Too many great ones to choose from. One of my favorites from 2011 was ETERNAL RIDER by Larissa Ione, though. Great story, world building, and characters.

Both prize packs sound great, but I would go with the paranormal romance. My favorite romances…Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen is a classic favorite. I also love the book For the Roses by Julie Garwood.

I’m not very well versed with Rafflecopter so I hope figuring out this 15/10 entries are simple.

On a romance note: *sigh* I’m about to snuggle in with some chocolate and read two novels today (well, the last half of Tiger Eye and then on to A Secret In Her Kiss…paranormal/contemporary and historical respectively)

    YAY!

I suppose I should say I’d love the historical just a tish more than the paranormal as I’m a history gal…

      • I must confess I’m completely with you. Fact is, I’ve actually only read 2 pnr series. O_O

        • Katie Lee says:

I have only read one paranormal series but a handful of individual books (and by series I mean trilogy…LOL). They are GREAT for the occasional read but I like to be able to relate a bit more to my books overall. :D And to be perfectly honest, out of the handful of my paranormal–I’ve had to purchase two I believe. The others were a mix between I won them or they were the freebie deals on nook.

I’m not a huge romance fan, but every once in a while… I enjoy a good Sophie Kinsella (non-shopaholic) and Heather Webber’s Lucy Valentine series, but I love Agnes and the Hitman.

Well, I just about lost my mind when I saw the books in the Historical pack! 3 of the 5 are currently sitting in my Amazon shopping cart! Eeeee!!!
Favorite Romance Novel? Tough question because I read so many romance subgenre. I think I am going to have to go with Karen Marie Moning…any of her books. I can’t remember what I said when I answered the survey. The problem is, it depends on the day of the week and my mood.

I feel pressured!!! My mind is drawing a complete blank.

I would want to win the Historical Prize pack since I’ve read most of the books in the other one…

ok can’t avoid the other question anymore….

I loved the first two Cat & Bones books – they are an amazing couple, for unconventional love Butterfly Tattoo by Deidre Knight is a favorite of mine – cried my eyes out on that one….I love Jeri Smith-Ready’s WVMP radio series because of Shane & Ciara.

Now I’m thinking of too many….I’ll stop now and I have to narrow it down to one for the form!

  • I would love the historical pack. I think my favorite romance of all time is probably Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, but I like my romances in general to not be contemporary, and the further away from the here and now the better! I love science fiction romance, when I can find it. And PNR. And steampunk!
