Ignore the weather report–there’s a heat wave coming!

Author, editor, blogger, and former sex columnist for the Village Voice, Rachel Kramer Bussel presents seven titillating tales guaranteed to steam up your bedroom windows in the midst of Mother Nature’s seasonal chill. A lusty collection of scintillating erotic dreams from some of the best writers in the field, here is a sexy and sure cure for the winter blues!

Ah, winter— the time of year for seeking warmth, whether it be from an oversized sweater or in the arms of a lover. Writer and anthology editor Rachel Kramer Bussel brings us an erotica anthology with this concept in mind. Bedding Down: A Collection of Winter Erotica, contains seven short stories by some of the best erotica authors in the business. Each story depicts a different aspect of the sensuality of the coldest time of the year that is often overlooked.

This was a fantastic read. With varying levels of heat, this anthology has something for everyone. The creativity levels found in Bedding Down are superb. It goes beyond the images of frigid temperatures and snow and offers a warmth and tenderness involved with other images of winter. Maple syrup, historic castles, abandoned cabins, hometowns, car trouble, and scented candles bring a new and unexpected level of sensuality to this anthology.

My personal favorite stories in this book were Hidden Treasure by Sophie Mouette and Sweet Season by Shanna Germain. While these are my absolute favorites in the series, each story is wonderful. There is not a single disappointment in this entire book. Each author brings something unique and exciting to Bedding Down and each story has the ability to make any reader’s temperature rise.
This book contains graphic depictions of sexual acts and contains some foul language. Reader discretion is advised.
